Craig Beach sits inland of the Erie snow belt but still takes hard valley freezes, and lakeside lots add a wrinkle: wind off Lake Milton drives the wind-chill at exposed pipes and outdoor units, and seasonal homes left at low heat are the most common freeze-up calls we get all winter.
