AK Heating & Cooling is hiring a full-time Electrician to run service calls, panel upgrades, rewires, EV charger installs, and generator hookups across Trumbull, Mahoning, Portage, Ashtabula, and Columbiana counties. We're a licensed Ohio electrical contractor running electrical alongside HVAC, refrigeration, and Generac generators - so there's steady, year-round work and real room to grow. You'll run your own truck with a dispatcher who keeps your day organized.
What you'll do
- Diagnose and repair residential and light-commercial electrical faults
- Install and upgrade panels, sub-panels, and service entrances
- Run rough-in and finish wiring for remodels and added circuits
- Install EV chargers, generator transfer switches, and surge protection
- Pull permits and meet NEC and Ohio code on every job
- Take part in the rotating 24/7 emergency on-call schedule
What you bring
- 3+ years of Ohio residential and/or commercial electrical experience
- Able to work from prints and troubleshoot independently
- Solid knowledge of panels, breakers, wiring methods, and code compliance
- Valid Ohio driver's license and clean driving record
- Professional, customer-facing communication
Nice to have
- Ohio electrical license (or working toward one)
- Generator / standby power install experience
- EV charger, low-voltage, or solar experience
